Jordan + Ryan // Sparks Lake // Bend, Oregon
You might recognize Jordan + Ryan from their engagement photos at Powell Butte that we shared on the blog earlier this year. We couldn’t wait to celebrate their elopement at Sparks Lake in Bend. They wanted a relaxed and intimate day somewhere in Oregon they had always wanted to visit. The mountaintop lake with incredible views of South Sister, Mount Bachelor, and Broken Top made for the perfect spot.
When we arrived we set off right away to start exploring the surrounding forest. We took in the views, were amazed by the rainbow-colored shimmer coming off the water, and winded in and out of rock lined canyons until dusk.
Once the sun started to set they picked out just the right spot to read their vows. After a few tears and plenty of laughs we watched the sky change colors and sent them off for their honeymoon in the Cascade Lakes.
