Jordan + Ryan // Portland, Oregon // Powell Butte Nature Park
Sometimes we’re blown away by how small of a world this is. Jordan + Ryan came across our work while on their search for someone to capture their engagement photos. It wasn’t until after they reached out to us that they realized Ryan already knew Madye. He was Madye’s social work intern from years ago here in Portland! We all decided it was meant to be that they had connected with our work without even knowing that they already knew us.
Powell Butte Nature Park came as an easy choice for Jordan + Ryan to capture their engagement photos. They shared stories from early on in their relationship when they would go there to unwind and escape the craziness of life for just a little while. Even though it’s only a few minutes outside of the city it’s mountain views and expansive fields make you feel a world away. Right when we arrived a storm rolled in but we didn’t let it slow us down! We endured a few sprinkles, walked through fields of daisies, and witnessed one of the most golden sunset’s we’ve ever seen. We’d say it was a pretty perfect evening.
