Isabel + Rudy // Painted Hills // Mitchell, Oregon
It was crazy that we’d been in Portland for so long and still had yet to visit the Painted Hills. It’s been on our list for years so when Isabel and Rudy suggested it for their engagement photos we immediately said yes. It just so happened that we were going to be headed to Bend for an elopement at Sparks Lake around the same time so we were able to do our most favorite thing, work road trip! On a sunny day in June, we packed up the van and drove South for an adventure in a part of Oregon we were so eager to explore.
We ran around seeing everything the fossil bed monument had to offer, stopped for a quick engagement session beer because why not, and watched the colors of the hills change as the sun went down. If this session is any indication of what their wedding in June will be like we’re in for a damn good time!
