Industrial Leftbank Annex Wedding in Portland, Oregon

Shannon + Peter's Leftbank Annex Wedding was absolutely perfect. They planned a beautiful and intentional day to celebrate with all of their wonderful friends and family. It was full of fun, lots of laughter, great beer, and an epic dance party (thanks to an incredible performance from Dancehall Days). Choosing the images to share the story of their day was so hard to narrow down so this is a BIG one! But before you start scrolling I want to tell you all about this Oregon wedding venue because I'm kind of obsessed with it 🙂

Industrial Portland Wedding Venue

Leftbank Annex is an industrial Portland wedding venue dream! Let me just gush about all it has to offer- I have to start with the aesthetic of the space. If your vision is for a raw, contemporary, industrial wedding, this is truly the best wedding venue in Portland for you. Leftbank Annex has it all! Built in 1911, the pre-war building features city views, high ceilings with an overlooking balcony, concrete floors, steel beams, exposed brick, and my favorite part - expansive windows surrounding the entire venue flooding it with natural light. All of these elements alone are perfect for a beautiful, minimalistic style that you don't even need to do much to but what's great is that the raw nature of it really allows you to customize it to your vision while still embracing all of those industrial elements. Also, it's huge! Leftbank Annex has multiple levels with 2 large rooms that you can rent separately or together, The Clubroom and The Greatroom. The Greatroom, which is over 7,000 square feet can hold up to 900 people standing and 400 seated. This room also includes access to a few smaller areas that are connected to it, The Nest, The Mezzanine, and The Greenroom. The Nest is an elevated area perched above the crowd that's perfect for a DJ or photo booth. The Mezzanine is a balcony-like lounge space that overlooks the main part of the Greatroom. It can hold up to 75 people standing and is ideal for things like cocktail hour. The Greenroom is a private area, great for getting ready or hanging out with the wedding party. It includes lounge furniture, a mini fridge, and a full bathroom. In addition to all of these amazing things, Leftbank Annex also offers The Clubroom which is located on the lower floor. This room is around 4,000 square feet and can hold up to 500 standing guests or 200 seated. It has retractable glass walls and can be divided up into 3 distinct spaces. The Clubroom is great to get in addition to The Greatroom to use as a cocktail hour spot while flipping the main room to the reception or as a stand alone for smaller, more intimate weddings. On top of all of this, the location of the wedding is incredible and offers so many spots right outside the venue for photos including bridges overlooking the city. In addition to all of this, Shannon + Peter assembled an amazing team of vendors for their wedding day. Starting with hair and makeup by Blossom and Beauty, day of coordination and florals by Kara at Yours Always PDX, rentals from Arden Event Collective (formerly The Party Place), catering by Elephant's Deli, Dessert from Coco Donuts (the best donut in Portland IMO) and Kyra's Bake Shop, and Dancehall Days for their live music. We couldn't have asked for a better group to collaborate with and bring the couple's vision to life.
