Outdoor Boudoir Session on Mt. Hood

There's just nothing quite like outdoor boudoir photography. Feeling the forest floor under your feet, the moss on the trees, the fresh air, it's hard to describe how freeing the experience is. One of the best things about being a Portland boudoir photographer is that there's such a wide variety of endless, beautiful landscapes to take advantage of. When Katie first reached out to talk about her self love session she expressed wanting to have a mix of woodsy outdoor shots and indoor cozy cabin vibes. We found the cutest Airbnb in Rhododendron on Mt. Hood near a secluded spot that would be perfect for popping outside for a few shots. With it being winter, Katie knew she probably wouldn't last too long in the cold so we made every minute outside count (fueled by a thermos full of Bailey's and coffee of course). We had a blast running through the forest and finding all the natural light in the beautiful Mount Hood A-frame cabin. I feel so lucky that I was able to capture this empowering session with Katie and so happy that she braved the cold to get lost in the ferns for a little bit.
