The Evergreen Wedding in Portland, Oregon

Gabi + Rebekka couldn't have had a more perfect day as the backdrop for their colorful Fall wedding in Portland. The sun was shining, the leaves were at their peak vibrant fall colors, and you could feel the love and excitement from a mile away.
They started off the day getting ready at Hotel Grand Stark and I have to say, this may be our new favorite hotel in Portland. The rooms are spacious but still have a cozy vibe, perfect for spending the morning with all of your closest friends and family. Plus, it's only a couple blocks away from The Evergreen making it a great spot for any out of town guests to stay nearby. It's located in the Central Eastside Buckman neighborhood which provides a ton of industrial photo spots as well as being close to many Portland parks giving you a bunch of options for doing portraits. This is a big reason why Gabi + Rebekka chose this spot as they wanted to take advantage of all that the location has to offer. We decided on Mt Tabor for their first look and wedding party photos and it couldn't have been more perfect for their vision. The extinct volcano is covered in trails surrounded by lush green trees making you feel like you've left the city and immersed yourself deep in the Pacific Northwest forest. And in the fall it has some of the best foliage the city has to offer. After the couples first look their wedding party joined us at Mount Tabor before heading to The Evergreen to get some industrial shots around the venue.
The Evergreen is one of the best Portland wedding venues for large weddings! The modern industrial space can hold up to 550 people and seat as many as 200 for dinner. They've done a great job of restoring old historic details and merging that with new modern updates. The wide open space is flooded with natural light and gives you the ability to bring your own aesthetic while still embracing the simple beauty of the space. In addition to the 5,000 square foot main floor you can utilize the 1,000 square foot mezzanine for getting ready and/or cocktail hour. They also provide a private suite that's great for last minute touch ups or taking a break before the ceremony while guests arrive. But one of our favorite things about The Evergreen is that you can move down to the Loyal Legion for cocktail hour, which is perfect for a large wedding where you need to flip the ceremony to the reception for a seated dinner. Gabi + Rebekka incorporated all of these wonderful features into their day and the result was amazing! Take a look below at their fun filled fall celebration!
