Normally, we don’t do a lot of maternity sessions. But over this past year, we’ve had quite a few former wedding clients and couples reach out to photograph the start of a new chapter in their lives. We LOVED it! It means so much to us to keep those connections and continue capturing these important milestones in their lives. So when Emily called me and share that she and Paul were expecting baby Sloane we couldn’t wait to see them again.
We really love maternity sessions because of how empowering it can be. We’ve had so many women share with us how amazing and beautiful they feel while being pregnant. When Emily reached out she told me how she felt and expressed that she really wanted to capture that feeling, to hold onto it and be able to share with her daughter one day. Not only did we think this was a wonderful idea but it was also a great reminder of how important and long-lasting captured frames can be. To be able to take this experience through generations, so meaningful.
Emily and Paul chose to do their session at home, which, if you follow along with us you know is our favorite. It creates a relaxed, comfortable environment that truly reflects where you are and the memories you’re creating at this time in your lives.
