Amy + Eric // Trillium Lake // Mount Hood, Oregon

Like so many others this year, Amy + Eric had to adjust their original wedding plans in exchange for a smaller, more intimate day. But the good news is, they’re going to get the best of both worlds with a Mount Hood elopement this year and a larger anniversary celebration at Mazama Lodge with all their family and friends in 2021. Plus, they still got to keep the most important parts of their plan and create a fun and relaxed day. Getting married at the amphitheater at Trillium Lake on Mount Hood was what Amy had envisioned for the longest time so you better believe we made it happen! Thomas (their sweet boy beagle) was front and center with mom + dad all day, a close friend officiated, we listened to incredible music (all the Father John Misty, Amy really knows the way to my heart), got to stuff our faces with delicious mini pies from The Pie Spot, and watched the sun go down over the mountain. Since we had some extra time to work with we decided to go to White River West Sno-Park to snag some more views Mt Hood and let Thomas run around before heading up to Timberline Lodge for dinner. Though it wasn’t what they thought their wedding was going to be they kept their focus on what really matters, marrying their best friend. And now we get to celebrate with them twice which makes us very happy people 🙂
