People don’t do enough winter weddings, in our opinion. The brisk breeze in the air and moody Pacific Northwest clouds create the perfect atmosphere for a unique wedding that breaks out of traditional norms. Not to mention beating the heat of summer, increased availability of venues, and less stress. Annie and Max also took advantage of the cool weather to have a formal Great Gatsby themed celebration. The low romantic lighting, beautiful details throughout, and prime location in downtown Portland right next to Director Park made the Elysian Ballroom the perfect choice. They also included some amazing special touches into their day. The cake by Lux Sucre Desserts was phenominal. It was creative, incredibly detailed, and ideal in keeping with the theme of the day. Also, the custom ice cubes created by PDX Ice we’re SO cool!
