Sue + Doug // Portland, Oregon // Powell Butte Nature Park
Doug and Sue arrived in Portland from the Midwest on a sunny summer afternoon. They were ready to hit the ground running, finishing up last minute details for their daughters’ wedding in just a few short days. Little did they know that we had been scheming with the bride to surprise them with a shoot for their 34th anniversary, which happened to be on the same day as the wedding.
The sunset was perfect and Powell Butte’s prairie fields lit up. It set off the weekend perfectly for everyone involved, ourselves included. It was a great pleasure to make our introductions and then jump right behind the camera to capture these two during such a special time.
