You may recognize these two handsome men from their engagement session earlier this summer on our blog. After spending such a fun day exploring their favorite parts of Portland we couldn’t wait for their wedding at The Ace Hotel to get here.

Shawn + Jeff took a minimalistic approach to their wedding. It’s a wonderful example of how to defy the rules and make your wedding your own. The Cleaners is already such a beautiful space with its high ceilings and amazing natural light that just adding some greenery and florals was perfect. They wanted to do things a little differently so they decided to join their guests for a cocktail hour before the ceremony began. The ceremony itself was full of laughs and happy tears. It was short and sweet but full of emotion. Instead of a traditional sit down dinner they passed hors d’oeuvres from Clyde Common throughout the evening and kept the drinks flowing. Their day was laid back and really focused on celebrating each other and spending time with their closest friends and family. Basically what our wedding dreams are made of. As the night went on the dance party turned into karaoke and they sang the night away. Congratulations Shawn + Jeff, thanks again for inviting us to share such a perfect day with you!
