For Molly + Ryan, deciding to have a destination wedding was all about deciding to have FUN! When they first reached out to us they shared that they were thinking of doing a tropical destination wedding and said: "what do you think about us jumping off a cliff into the ocean in our wedding clothes?" to which we replied, "nothing would make us happier, let the adventure wedding ensue!" *until we later jumped off that cliff ourselves and it was terrifying! We spent a week at the Hotel Riu Negril with a handful of their closest family and friends and had the time of our lives.

The excitement as everyone arrived was contagious. We kicked off the week by watching a beautiful sunset over the ocean, interrupted by an even prettier sight, Molly icing Ryan! If you're not familiar, "icing" someone involves hiding a Smirnoff Ice where you know the person will find it and when they do they're forced to take a knee and chug the entire thing. Which is not easy to do! It was a hilarious and very true to form way to start such a fun week of celebration.

The day of the wedding began with Molly foraging her own bouquet, filled with tropical flowers from around the hotel. Her younger sister, Claire, even climbed up into a tree collecting greenery to create the perfect arrangement. That's a dedicated (and limber) sister! After their stunning beachfront ceremony, Molly + Ryan took to the ocean for their first dance followed by Molly cutting off the bottom half of her dress. Better to adventure in! From there we set out on a catamaran, soaking up the breathtaking views of the ocean, getting off on a small island where we were savagely attacked by sand mites, and finishing off the day wading in the water as they watched the sun go down.
