Erin + Ricardo // Chicago, Illinois // St. Charles Church + Acquaviva Winery
Back in 2015 Ricardo told Erin to pack a bag but wouldn’t tell her where they were going, only hints on what to bring. A few hours later they arrived in Portland, Oregon and the next morning went on a tour of a winery in the Willamette Valley where Ricardo purposed. The next day we met them in Cape Kiwanda and celebrated their engagement on the beach over a beautiful sunset.
Fast forward a year and a half and we’re on our way to Chicago to capture their wedding. It was only fitting that since they had gotten engaged at a winery, they get married at one too. The weather wasn’t quite as ideal as it had been during their engagement session but there’s something to be said about a big Midwest storm. Erin and Ricardo’s wedding at Acquaviva Winery was incredibly fun. We say it all the time and these guys proved us right – people from the Midwest know how to party!
